Fireheart

Set in New York City, this animated story follows Georgia Nolan, a teenager who dreams of becoming a firefighter like her father. Because women are barred from the profession, she disguises herself as a boy to join a volunteer crew. Her goal is to help capture a mysterious arsonist who is targeting theaters and causing firefighters to vanish. While working to save the city, she must keep her true identity a secret from her colleagues and her father.

Directed by Laurent Zeitoun, this was the first of two listed films in his career. The screenplay was written by Zeitoun along with Daphne Ballon and Jennica Harper. The voice cast features Olivia Cooke as Georgia, Kenneth Branagh as Shawn Nolan, and William Shatner as the Mayor of New York, with additional voices by Laurie Holden, Kevin Dennis, and Ryan W. Garcia. A co-production between the United Kingdom, Canada, and France, the film blends adventure, comedy, and family themes over a 92-minute runtime.
