A Model Employee

François Maurey is the head of a successful computer company that has developed a valuable new software product. While he refuses to sell this technology to American interests, his personal life is falling apart as his wife of 25 years prepares to leave him. The arrival of Florence, a mysterious and troubled young woman whom François hires at his firm, introduces further instability into his world. As he becomes involved with her, he must navigate conflicts with his family and an ambitious colleague.

Directed and written by Jacques Otmezguine, this thriller was the first of two films directed by him, preceding The Pianist's Choice.
