Avery is a perfectionist teenager who wants to ensure her first intimate experience with her long-distance boyfriend is successful. To prepare for this milestone, she recruits her close friend Larson to help her study and practice the mechanics of sexuality. Through this process, Avery begins to learn that romantic relationships depend more on emotional connection than on scientific precision.
