Set in Budapest in 1957 following the failed uprising against the communist regime, this drama follows a Jewish boy named Andor. The film was directed by László Nemes, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Clara Royer. In the director's filmography, this production follows Son of Saul (2015) and precedes Moulin (2026). The main cast features Bojtorján Barabas in the lead role as Andor, appearing alongside Grégory Gadebois, Andrea Waskovics, Elíz Szabó, Gábor Iványi, and Soma Sándor.
A joint production between companies from Hungary, France, Germany, Cyprus, and the United Kingdom, the movie has a runtime of 132 minutes. Since its release in October 2025, it has received a moderate reception from viewers. On IMDb, the film holds a rating of 6.4/10 based on 693 votes, while on TMDB it has a rating of 6.2/10 from 14 votes.
