Jujutsu Kaisen 0 follows Yuta Okkotsu, a high school student haunted by his childhood friend Rika Orimoto, who died in an accident and has returned as a powerful curse that refuses to leave him. The aggression of this presence draws the attention of Satoru Gojo, a teacher at a Tokyo school where young exorcists train to fight curses. Gojo brings Yuta into the school, where he meets fellow students Maki Zen'in, Toge Inumaki and Panda, and begins learning to control the force bound to him. A larger danger emerges when the curse user Suguru Geto plans to unleash a vast number of curses on Shinjuku and Kyoto and wipe out ordinary people. The film is based on the manga of the same name and serves as a prequel to the Jujutsu Kaisen series.

The film was directed by Sunghoo Park and written by Hiroshi Seko. It was Park's first feature, followed by Monsters 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation in 2024 and Undead Unluck: Winter-hen in 2025. Yuta is voiced by Megumi Ogata, Rika by Kana Hanazawa, Gojo by Yuichi Nakamura and Geto by Takahiro Sakurai. It was released on 24 December 2021 with a runtime of 105 minutes and grossed about 197 million dollars worldwide.
