Alps

A group of four individuals, including a nurse, a paramedic, a coach, and a gymnast, run a business called Alps. They are hired by grieving people to impersonate the deceased by adopting their habits, wearing their clothes, and mimicking their personalities to help the bereaved cope with loss. To maintain the illusion, the members must follow strict protocols that forbid forming emotional or personal bonds with their clients, a rule that one member eventually challenges.

Yorgos Lanthimos directed and co-wrote this drama, which stands as the fourth film in his chronological body of work. He also served as a producer on the project alongside Athina Rachel Tsangari. The cast features Angeliki Papoulia in the role of the nurse, alongside Aris Servetalis, Johnny Vekris, Ariane Labed, Stavros Psyllakis, and Efthymis Filippou.
