Queen of Spades

Based on Russian folklore, this horror film follows four teenagers who perform an ancient ritual involving a mirror and a candle to summon a malevolent entity known as the Queen of Spades. What begins as a prank quickly turns into a nightmare as the creature begins to haunt and pursue the group. One of the teenagers, Anna, attempts to convince her mother that the curse is real while seeking help from an expert on the entity to stop the supernatural attacks.

Produced in Canada by companies including Epic Pictures Group, Dread, Screen Time, and 1984 Pictures, the film was directed by Patrick White, who also co-wrote the screenplay with John Ainslie. The cast features Ava Preston in the role of Anna, alongside Kaelen Ohm, Jamie Bloch, Eric Osborne, Nabil Rajo, and Krista Marchand, who portrays the Queen of Spades. There are 23 credited cast members in total.
