House of Pleasures

Set in Paris at the turn of the 20th century, House of Pleasures depicts the internal lives of the women working in L’Apollonide, a luxurious brothel. Within this secluded environment, the women experience a range of emotions from joy to pain while dealing with the unpredictable nature of their clients. As the establishment faces its final days due to shifting political landscapes, the women strive to find freedom and manage their shared secrets and rivalries.

The drama was written and directed by Bertrand Bonello, marking his third feature following The Pornographer and Tiresia. The film features a cast including Noémie Lvovsky, Hafsia Herzi, Céline Sallette, Jasmine Trinca, and Adèle Haenel.
