This documentary series examines a 1994 triple homicide that occurred at the home of a bar owner in Miramar, South Florida. Pablo Ibar, the son of a well-known Spanish jai alai player, was convicted of the killings and sentenced to death. After spending 16 years on death row, Ibar was granted a new trial by the Florida Supreme Court, which halted his execution. Through perspectives from lawyers, judges, detectives, jurors, and the families of both the victims and the accused, the film explores the complexities of the American legal system.
The production was directed by Olmo Figueredo and written by José F. Ortuño. Produced by the Spanish company La Claqueta, the series has a total runtime of 330 minutes. It was released on December 4, 2020.
