I Love America

After her children leave home and her famous, distant mother passes away, a single woman named Lisa moves from Paris to Los Angeles to seek a fresh start in her romantic life. She reunites with her close friend Luka, who is successful in America but still searching for a partner. To help her find love, Luka sets up a dating profile for her. Through a series of awkward dates and unexpected meetings, Lisa learns that searching for a partner is also a process of self-discovery and forgiveness.

This romantic comedy was written and directed by Lisa Azuelos, following her previous work on films such as Quantum Love and LOL. The movie stars Sophie Marceau as Lisa and Djanis Bouzyani as Luka, with a credited cast of 20 actors including Colin Woodell and Sophie Verbeeck.
