The Road Dance

Set in a small village in the Outer Hebrides during the years leading up to and during World War I, the story follows Kirsty MacLeod. Kirsty lives a difficult, isolated existence on the coast and dreams of a different life. Her world shifts when her love interest, Murdo MacAulay, is called to serve in the war. During a farewell dance held for the departing men, a tragic event occurs that permanently alters Kirsty's future and forces her to deal with a new hardship in secret.
