Sasha is a former orphan who struggles to fit into society, often viewing her surroundings as hostile. To cope, she spends her time participating in unregulated underground fights, though she secretly aspires to become a medical professional. Lacking the funds and education required for a healthcare career, her life shifts when she meets Kolya, a teenager with a disability. Kolya's mother, who balances a job at a fish factory and a relationship with a police officer, is searching for a caregiver for her son. This connection creates a turning point for everyone involved.
