Glitter & Doom

A reserved musician named Doom and a carefree circus performer called Glitter develop a romantic relationship over the course of a summer. Their time together is spent camping and sharing music, but their bond is challenged by the pressures of the music industry and complications involving their mothers. As they pursue their individual dreams, they struggle to determine if their connection can survive these external tensions.

This romantic comedy and music film was directed by Tom Gustafson, following his 2017 project Hello Again. The screenplay was written by Cory Krueckeberg. The cast features Alex Diaz and Alan Cammish in the lead roles, with supporting performances from Missi Pyle, Tig Notaro, and Lea DeLaria. The production was a joint effort between companies from Mexico and the United States, including La Palma de Oro Films and Speak Productions.
