The Test

Annie Castillon lives a peaceful life with her husband, Laurent, and their four children. This sense of family harmony is disrupted when Annie finds a positive pregnancy test in the bathroom. The discovery leads to a series of suspicions and investigations as she attempts to determine if the test belongs to her teenage daughter, a son's girlfriend, or if her husband has a mistress. These inquiries create tension and lead to various revelations within the household.

The film was directed by Emmanuel Poulain-Arnaud, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Noé Debré. This project is the first in a chronological list of two films directed by Poulain-Arnaud, followed by See The Sea in 2025. The cast is led by Alexandra Lamy in the role of Annie Castillon and Philippe Katerine as Laurent Castillon, appearing alongside Matteo Perez, Joaquim Fossi, Chloé Barkoff-Gaillard, and Lucile Jaillant.
