In the Georgian region of Samegrelo, a family of four works to build a blueberry farm to ensure their long-term stability. While the father, a former engineer, seeks to maintain a bond with the land through a government stabilization program, the mother is affected by past wartime memories. This ambition for a local future clashes with the desires of their two sons, who are interested in Japanese culture and long to leave their home. Set near the volatile border with Abkhazia, the family must navigate their personal aspirations against a backdrop of regional tension that has persisted for decades.
