Pokémon the Movie: White - Victini and Zekrom

Ash and his friends arrive in Eindoak Town during its harvest festival, where a Pokémon tournament is being held. There they meet Victini, a mythical Pokémon tied to the town and to the ruined castle at its centre, known as the Sword of the Earth. Long ago, the Kingdom of the People of the Earth ruled the region, and a descendant of that people, Dred Grangil, now wants to restore its old power. His plans centre on Victini's strength, and Ash and his companions set out to stop him before Eindoak and Victini itself are lost.

The film is directed by Kunihiko Yuyama, the nineteenth of the twenty-eight Pokémon features he has directed in chronological order, following Pokémon the Movie: Black - Victini and Reshiram and preceding Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem vs. the Sword of Justice. Hideki Sonoda wrote the screenplay, and the voice cast includes Rica Matsumoto as Satoshi, Ikue Otani as Pikachu, Aoi Yuki as Iris, Minami Tsuda as Kibago, Mamoru Miyano as Dent and Megumi Hayashibara as Musashi, among twenty-five credited performers.

Released in July 2011, it is one of two companion versions of the same story, differing in certain settings, Pokémon and visual details. It took about 29 million dollars worldwide. On IMDb it holds 5.7/10 from roughly 2,200 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6.5/10 from around 207 votes.
