Green Lantern: Beware My Power

John Stewart, a Marine sniper newly discharged from service, finds himself without a clear direction in life. That changes when he receives an alien ring that grants him the powers of Earth's Green Lantern. The ring comes without instructions, and it brings danger with it: a group of interplanetary assassins is determined to wipe out every Green Lantern in the universe. With help from Green Arrow, Adam Strange and Hawkgirl, the reluctant soldier travels into the middle of a galactic war between Rann and Thanagar, where he must succeed in a mission that other Green Lanterns before him did not survive.

Green Lantern: Beware My Power is an animated science-fiction action film directed by Jeff Wamester, released in 2022. It followed his earlier Justice Society: World War II and came before Justice League: Warworld and Legion of Super-Heroes, among other DC animated titles he directed. The screenplay is by John Semper Jr. and Ernie Altbacker, with Jim Krieg producing. Aldis Hodge voices John Stewart, and the cast includes Jimmi Simpson as Green Arrow, Brian Bloom as Adam Strange, Jamie Gray Hyder as Hawkgirl, Ike Amadi as Martian Manhunter and Mara Junot as Lyssa Drak.

The film runs 88 minutes and was produced by DC Entertainment, DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6.2 from around 6,100 votes, while on TMDB its rating is 6.8 from a much smaller number of votes, indicating a modest but somewhat warmer response from that audience.
