PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie

A magical meteor crashes into Adventure City, and the crash gives the PAW Patrol pups superpowers that turn them into the Mighty Pups. For Skye, the smallest member of the team, the new abilities are a dream come true. The situation turns serious when Mayor Humdinger escapes from prison and joins forces with Victoria Vance, a scientist obsessed with meteors, to take the pups' powers for themselves. With Adventure City in danger, the Mighty Pups have to stop the pair, and Skye learns that even the smallest pup can make a difference. The film continues the PAW Patrol series that began with the television show and follows PAW Patrol: The Movie.

Cal Brunker directed and co-wrote the screenplay with Bob Barlen. It is the fourth feature he has directed, after Escape from Planet Earth, The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature and PAW Patrol: The Movie, and it precedes PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie. Mckenna Grace voices Skye, with Taraji P. Henson as Victoria Vance, Marsai Martin as Liberty, Iain Armitage and Christian Convery as Chase, and Will Brisbin as Ryder, among 29 credited cast members.

Made for about 30 million US dollars, the film took in roughly 205 million US dollars worldwide, a strong return for an animated family release. On IMDb it holds 5.9 out of 10 from around 6,500 votes, while on TMDB it has 6.9 out of 10 from about 594 votes, so the smaller TMDB group rates it more warmly than the larger IMDb group.
