The Best Weekend

The Best Weekend is a Ukrainian comedy that follows four separate groups of people as their plans for a trip to Kyiv go wrong. One man from Germany volunteers at a music festival to pursue a woman, but he accidentally loses an older headliner. A girl from Odessa searches for her father, a rock musician she has not seen in a decade. Meanwhile, a group of friends from Kryvyi Rih experience conflicts during a stag party, and an ambitious woman from Lviv finds her professional goals derailed by her younger brother.

The film was directed by Vlad Klymchuk, following his previous projects The Choice, Infoholic, and Crazy Wedding. Written by Anastasia Lodkina and produced by Anna Eliseyeva and Dmytro Sydorenko, the movie was produced by FILM.UA Group. The ensemble cast includes Daria Petrozhytska, Elias Reichert, Alina Cheban, Oleksandr Rudynskyi, Maksym Devizorov, and Hans Jörg Berchtold, with a total of 36 credited actors. Released on February 2, 2022, the production has a runtime of 95 minutes.
