Come with Me to the Cinema – The Gregors

This documentary examines the lives and professional achievements of Erika and Ulrich Gregor. Starting in the 1950s, the couple influenced the cinematic conversation in post-war Germany by introducing numerous historically significant films to Berlin. The film highlights their fundamental role in establishing the Forum and Arsenal.

Directed and written by Alice Agneskirchner, the production was created by WDR and RBB. The film features appearances by Erika and Ulrich Gregor as themselves, alongside other figures including Jim Jarmusch, Wim Wenders, Doris Dörrie, and Jutta Brückner. In total, 31 cast members are credited in the 155-minute runtime.
