A lonely man resides in a weathered hut on a remote Russian Arctic coast, waiting for an annual gathering of animals. As he observes this recurring natural event, rising sea temperatures and global warming disrupt the cycle, leaving him to face an overwhelming environmental shift.
This documentary was directed by Maxim Arbugaev, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Evgenia Arbugaeva. It is the first film in a sequence of works by the director, followed by This Summer Will End in 2025. Produced by Albireo Films with Melissa Fajardo as producer, the film features Maxim Chakilev appearing as himself. This twenty-five minute production is a joint effort between Russia and the United Kingdom.
The film has received a positive response from viewers, holding a rating of 7.2/10 on IMDb based on 1,900 votes.
