Two Of A Kind

Two Of A Kind is a French comedy about twin brothers, Grégoire Beaulieu and Anthony Girard, who discover each other's existence thirty-three years after being separated at birth. The siblings are opposites in every way, including a rare genetic difference that makes one brother white and the other black. While Grégoire is an ambitious man from a bourgeois background with a promising career in politics, Anthony lacks clear prospects and leads a more erratic life. As they attempt to get to know one another, neither man feels that finding his sibling is a fortunate event.

The film was co-directed by Wilfried Méance and Olivier Ducray, marking the first collaboration in a series of projects that includes Maybe More in 2024. Méance later directed The Con Artist in 2026, while Ducray directed L’Homme qui s’envola that same year. The movie stars Ahmed Sylla as Anthony and Bertrand Usclat as Grégoire, supported by a cast that includes Pauline Clément, Gérard Jugnot, Isabelle Gélinas, and Nicolas Marié. Produced by Nac Films with a budget of 6 million USD, the film earned 3 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception was mixed, with a rating of 5.6/10 on IMDb based on 793 votes and a rating of 5.7/10 on TMDB from 159 votes.
