American Dreamer

American Dreamer is a comedy about Phil Loder, an economics professor who struggles to afford his own home. When a lonely widow offers him her expansive estate for a very low price, Phil believes his goal is within reach. However, he soon discovers that the deal is not as simple as it first appeared and contains a hidden catch that complicates his plan.

The film was directed by Paul Dektor and written by Theodore Melfi. Peter Dinklage stars as Phil Loder and also served as a producer alongside Kimberly Quinn and Melfi. The ensemble cast includes Shirley MacLaine, Danny Pudi, Matt Dillon, and Danny Glover. Produced by Goldenlight Films, Estuary Films, and Dektor Film Group, the movie was released in the United States on November 4, 2022, with a runtime of 106 minutes.
