Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver continues the story begun in the previous film, following a band of rebels as they prepare to face the forces of the Motherworld. As the group readies itself for the coming fight, alliances are formed and new heroes come to the fore. The cast includes Sofia Boutella as Kora, Djimon Hounsou as Titus, Ed Skrein as Atticus Noble, Michiel Huisman as Gunnar, Bae Doona as Nemesis and Staz Nair as Tarak.

The film is directed by Zack Snyder, who also wrote the screenplay with Kurt Johnstad and Shay Hatten. Snyder produced it with Eric Newman and Wesley Coller for The Stone Quarry and Grand Electric. It is the thirteenth of the fifteen films he has directed, arriving after Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire and before Zack Snyder's Shark Tale. The production had a budget of 83 million dollars, and the film runs 121 minutes.

Audience responses have been mixed: on IMDb it holds a rating of 5.3 from roughly 63,000 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6.1 from about 1,600 votes. A film critics' rating of 3.7 from 119 reviews places it lower than either audience measure. With a credited cast of 58 and a crew of 165, the production reflects the scale of the two-part space saga Snyder set out to build.
