2 Days in the Valley

The film follows two days in Los Angeles's San Fernando Valley, where a murder for hire pulls a group of strangers into the same chain of events. Two hit men, Lee Woods and Dosmo Pizzo, are hired to kill a former athlete's ex-husband as part of an insurance scheme, and their plan quickly goes wrong. In the aftermath, a suicidal filmmaker, a wealthy art dealer and his assistant, a pair of detectives working a separate case, and a scheming ex-wife all find their lives intersecting.

John Herzfeld wrote and directed the film, which was released in September 1996 and runs 104 minutes. It was his second feature as director, arriving thirteen years after Two of a Kind and five years before 15 Minutes. The ensemble cast includes Danny Aiello, Jeff Daniels, Teri Hatcher, Charlize Theron, James Spader and Eric Stoltz, with 25 credited cast members in all.
