Sadako DX

Ayaka Ichijo is a highly intelligent graduate student who discovers a pattern of mysterious deaths occurring across Japan. These fatalities are linked to people who have viewed a cursed video. The situation becomes personal when Ayaka's younger sister watches the footage out of curiosity, forcing Ayaka to investigate the phenomenon to find a solution.

This Japanese horror comedy was directed by Hisashi Kimura, who previously directed The Files of Young Kindaichi: Lost in Kowloon and 99.9 Criminal Lawyer: The Movie before this project, and later directed Bakuryū Sentai Abarenjā 20th: Yurusa Rezaru Abare. The screenplay was written by Yuya Takahashi and produced by Reiko Imayasu. The film stars Fuka Koshiba in the lead role, alongside Kazuma Kawamura, Naomi Nishida, Yuki Yagi, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, and Hiroyuki Watanabe.

The movie earned 3 million USD at the worldwide box office. It has received poor reception from viewers, holding a rating of 3.6/10 on IMDb based on 717 votes and a score of 4.4/10 on TMDB from 45 votes.
