Angry Annie

Set in 1970s France, this drama follows Annie, a working mother of two who discovers she is unexpectedly pregnant. Seeking to terminate the pregnancy, she connects with an underground movement providing illegal abortions. While she initially only wants the procedure, she eventually becomes involved in the activists' struggle for reproductive rights, encountering various supporters and adversaries along the way.

The film was directed by Blandine Lenoir, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Axelle Ropert. This production is the second film in Lenoir's directing career, following I Got Life! and preceding Juliette in Spring. The movie stars Laure Calamy as the protagonist, alongside Zita Hanrot, India Hair, Rosemary Standley, Damien Chapelle, and Yannick Choirat.
