Short description

In the South China Sea, a team of naval officers pursues a terrorist group. During their operation, the soldiers find themselves stranded on an island where they must fight for survival against hordes of prehistoric creatures. The presence of these predators is linked to a military plane crash that occurred decades earlier, which released experimental biochemical materials into the local environment. The conflict between the military unit and the terrorists becomes secondary as both groups are hunted by the carnivorous animals.

This 2004 television movie was directed by Stanley Isaacs, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Dean Widenmann. The production is a joint effort between the United States, Bulgaria, and Finland. The cast features Lorenzo Lamas as Hacket, Steven Bauer as Azir, and Hayley DuMond as Jamie Cole, with Peter Jason and Michael Cory Davis in supporting roles.

The film received a poor reception from viewers, indicated by a 2.6 rating on IMDb based on 1,100 votes. Similarly, it holds a low score of 3.9 on TMDB from 18 votes.
