Short description
Soulmates Eric Draven and Shelly Webster are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.

- Director Stephen Norrington took on the project in 2008 as director and screenwriter; a new approach to the mythology was chosen, focusing on a new set of symbols.
- Nick Cave was invited to revise the script.
- In October 2010, it became known that Norrington was no longer the film's director.
- In April 2011, the Weinstein brothers' company TWC sued Relativity, claiming that they owned the rights to the remake of “The Crow” (1994). Work on the remake was suspended. In January 2012, Relativity Media and the Weinstein Company finally resolved all legal disputes that had stalled work on “The Crow” since April 2011.
- Francisco Javier Gutierrez has become the third director of the remake of "The Crow" (1994).
