Nathalie Adler works for the European Union in Sicily, where she is tasked with arranging a symbolic visit by Emmanuel Macron and Angela Merkel to a migrant camp. The event is intended to project an image of stability and control. However, the mission is complicated by the sudden arrival of Nathalie's estranged son, Albert. An activist for a non-governmental organization, Albert has spent years disconnected from his mother and views her political work as hypocritical. Their tense reunion and personal conflict become as volatile as the diplomatic event she is managing.

This drama was directed by Lionel Baier and is the second film in a sequence that includes Prénom: Mathieu and The Safe House.
