Student Seduction

Christie Dawson is a young high school teacher who wants to be the kind of educator her students can relate to, and she gives extra help outside class to those who are struggling. One of them, seventeen-year-old Josh Gaines, comes from a wealthy family and misreads her attention as something more. When he makes advances and she rejects him, she reports the incident to the school principal. Josh then turns the accusation around, claiming that Christie was the one who pursued him, which puts her marriage to a respected doctor and her standing in the community under strain. She sets out to clear her name and fight back.

Student Seduction is a 2003 Canadian-American television drama directed by Peter Svatek, his second feature after Bleeders in 1997. Edithe Swensen wrote the screenplay, and Robin Spry and Judy Cairo produced it for Lifetime. Elizabeth Berkley plays Christie, with Corey Sevier as Josh, Rick Roberts as her husband Drew, and Sarah Allen, Sarah Smyth and Karen Robinson in supporting roles.
