Our Ties

Our Ties is a French drama centered on the relationship between two very different brothers. Moussa is known for his kindness and devotion to his family, while his brother Ryad is a famous television presenter viewed by others as selfish. Despite this, Moussa deeply admires Ryad and remains his only supporter. After sustaining a severe head injury from a fall, Moussa undergoes a personality shift. He begins speaking bluntly and honestly to his relatives, leading to conflict with almost everyone in his life except for Ryad.

The film was directed by Roschdy Zem, marking his second feature following 2016's Chocolat. Zem also co-wrote the screenplay with Maïwenn and served as a producer. The movie stars Sami Bouajila as Moussa and Roschdy Zem as Ryad, with a supporting cast including Meriem Serbah, Maïwenn, Rachid Bouchareb, and Abel Jafri.

Produced by Why Not Productions and Hole In One, the film earned 1 million USD at the worldwide box office. It has received a moderate reception from viewers, holding a rating of 6.3/10 on IMDb based on 412 votes and a matching 6.3/10 on TMDB from 72 votes.
