Elemental

Elemental is set in Element City, a metropolis where residents made of fire, water, earth and air live side by side. Ember, a young woman with a fiery temper, strikes up a friendship with Wade, a water man who tends to drift along with whatever comes his way. Their growing bond pushes Ember to question what she has always believed about the world she lives in and her own place in it.

The film was directed by Peter Sohn, his third feature after Partly Cloudy and The Good Dinosaur in his directing chronology, from a screenplay by Kat Likkel, John Hoberg and Brenda Hsueh, and produced by Denise Ream. Leah Lewis voices Ember and Mamoudou Athie voices Wade, with Ronnie del Carmen, Shila Ommi, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Catherine O'Hara among the supporting cast. It was made by Pixar and Walt Disney Pictures on a reported budget of around 200 million dollars and took roughly 496 million dollars worldwide.

On IMDb it holds a rating of 7 out of 10 from about 162,000 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 7.6 out of 10 from a much smaller base of around 5,550 votes. A critics' rating of 6.4 out of 10 from 268 reviews places it below both audience scores, meaning viewers responded to the film more warmly than reviewers did.
