Short description
Hirayama is content with his life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. Outside of his structured routine, he cherishes music on cassette tapes, books, and taking photos of trees. Through unexpected encounters, he reflects on finding beauty in the world.

- Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Japanese businessman Koji Yanai invited Wim Wenders to Japan to create a series of promotional videos about the redesign of public toilets in the Shibuya district of Tokyo, carried out by designers from different countries. The director was so impressed with what he saw that he suggested to Yanai to shoot a feature film instead of the videos.
