Shrapnel

A former Marine seeks to rescue his daughter after she is kidnapped by a Mexican drug cartel. Believing that official authorities are unable or unwilling to help, he takes action himself. Alongside an old comrade from his time in the military, he launches a mission to confront the armed organization and its leader to bring his child home safely.

Directed by William Kaufman, this action thriller was released in 2023. It follows eight other films in Kaufman's career, including The Prodigy and The Marine 4: Moving Target, and precedes Warhorse One, The Channel, Osiris, and Man of War.
