The Wages of Fear

A team of experts is tasked with transporting nitroglycerine across a hazardous desert to prevent a massive disaster. The mission is triggered by an explosion at an oil well that puts hundreds of lives at risk, forcing the group to move the explosives quickly through dangerous terrain to stop a further catastrophe.

This action thriller was directed by Julien Leclercq, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Hamid Hlioua and served as a producer. The film follows Leclercq's previous works, including The Assault, The Crew, The Bouncer, Earth and Blood, and Sentinelle. The main cast features Franck Gastambide, Alban Lenoir, Sofiane Zermani, Ana Girardot, Bakary Diombera, and Astrid Whettnall. A total of 26 actors and 111 crew members are credited in this Belgian and French production.
