Set in London, this action crime thriller follows a group of citizens who feel abandoned by the police and betrayed by their government. Believing that society has fallen into chaos, they form an outlaw posse to take justice into their own hands. They are led by Bryant, a veteran of the Iraq War, who uses his military training to turn these ordinary people into violent street soldiers. As the group carries out a brutal campaign to eliminate perceived social evils, they find themselves trapped by the very violence they employed.
The film was written and directed by Nick Love, appearing as the second project in his directorial timeline following The Football Factory. The cast is led by Sean Bean, with supporting roles played by Danny Dyer, Rupert Friend, Sean Harris, Lennie James, and Bob Hoskins. A production of the United Kingdom and France, the movie earned 3 million USD at the worldwide box office. It received a moderate response from audiences, holding a 5.7 rating on IMDb based on 13,000 votes and a 5.4 on TMDB from 167 votes. These figures are higher than the rating provided by film critics, who gave the movie a 3.8 based on 19 reviews.
