Jenny and her partner Bolle are expecting a child, a situation that brings Jenny mixed emotions. Having previously struggled with the legal system and youth welfare services, she finds her relationship with Bolle strained by their shared drug addiction. When they are assigned a midwife named Marla, Jenny is initially dismissive. However, Marla's non-judgmental approach allows Jenny to develop trust. This support helps her find the strength to confront her fears and accept responsibility for both herself and her unborn child.
