Let Me Go

Claudine is a single mother and seamstress who maintains a structured life dedicated to her son. To escape her daily routine, she visits a mountain hotel every Tuesday to seek brief, anonymous encounters with men who are only passing through for one night. This careful balance is disrupted when one of these men chooses to extend his stay specifically for her, leading Claudine to imagine a different future for herself.

The drama was directed by Maxime Rappaz, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Florence Seyvos. The film stars Jeanne Balibar in the lead role of Claudine, alongside Thomas Sarbacher, Pierre-Antoine Dubey, Alex Freeman, Véronique Mermoud, and Adrien Savigny. A joint production between Belgium, France, and Switzerland, the movie was produced by Gabriela Bussmann and Yan Decoppet with a credited crew of 44 people.
