Late Bloomers

A drifting 28-year-old woman living in Brooklyn suffers a hip injury during a drunken accident. While recovering in a physical therapy ward surrounded by elderly patients, she meets Antonina, a grumpy Polish woman who does not speak English. The young woman eventually becomes Antonina's caregiver. Though neither party is happy with the arrangement, the relationship forces both women to confront the realities of aging and adulthood.
