Saindhavi is a Carnatic music singer and an Indian film playback singer.

She began her career at age 7 and started performing at the early age of 9. Her strength in Carnatic music helped her in performing in various temples and traditional venues. She has her expertise in Carnatic classical and Film Music.

She completed her schooling at Chettinad Vidyashram School in RA Puram, Chennai, India and went on doing Sociology and Psychology. Saindhavi married her schoolmate and composer G V Prakash Kumar on 27 June 2013 in Chennai, India.
