What's left behind the scenes

The name Pam (voiced by Amber Nash) can be seen in graffiti on the walls in almost every episode.
ISIS stands for International Secret Intelligence Service. On October 13, 2014, the project's creators decided to merge ISIS with the CIA for the 6th season due to the abbreviation coinciding with that of the terrorist organization Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which operated in the Middle East.
The series creator, screenwriter, and producer Adam Reed stated in an interview that the setting of the series is not tied to any specific time period. For example, the international situation—specifically the Cold War—does not align with the technology existing at that time, nor with Woodhouse's age.
Ray Gillette (played by Adam Reed) is based on Lucky Yates, who voiced Dr. Krieger.
Articles in magazines that the animated series' characters read or simply glance at often serve as references to episodes or plotlines that have not yet been shown.
Pam has a tattoo across her entire back with the following text: 'The Angel of Death as it were brushed his wing here / And, breathing on the villains, finished off the enemy. / With the wax of death he closed their eyes forever. / And stopped the beat of hearts that only trembled.' This is the third stanza of the poem 'The Destruction of Sennacherib' by G.G. Byron, an 18th-century English poet, about how the Lord prevented the Assyrian army from attacking Jerusalem.
The sound design of every episode includes the sound of ice cubes clinking against the sides of a glass.
Because changes were being prepared for the 5th season that were kept strictly secret, the clips preceding the season's release contained no fragments revealing what awaited viewers in the new season.
The characters in the animated series do not have fingernails. The only exception is a scene in one episode where Mallory (voiced by Jessica Walter) paints her fingernails and toenails.
According to the series artist Neil Holman, until the final day of animation work, the project was titled "The Duchess" (which was Archer's code name and the name of Mallory's favorite dog).
The names 'Barbra' and 'Liza' are engraved on Ray's pistols, which is a reference to Barbra Streisand and Liza Minnelli.
Woodhouse (voiced by George Coe) is named after the famous English writer P.G. Wodehouse, best known as the author of novels about the young aristocrat Bertram Wooster and his valet Reginald Jeeves.
