What's left behind the scenes
- Although the credits list only one cat, three animals were actually used for filming. Each was used for their own specific scenes.
- Actress Shanese Davis-Williams, who plays the role of the blind Marissa Clark, can actually see perfectly. To get into character, the actress visited the Chicago Guild for the Blind.
- The series was given different titles during translation in various countries. For example, in Germany, 'Early Edition' was called 'One Against the Future'; in Italy, the series was titled 'News from Heaven'; in Poland, 'It Happened Tomorrow'; and in Russia, 'Morning Edition'.
