What's left behind the scenes
- The first fully computer-generated series in history.
- Despite the ABC network canceling the animated series after two seasons, Mainframe did not stop production. They released a third season and two TV movies in Canada that continued the events of the series. Since ABC was no longer interfering in the creative process with demands to tailor the show for young children, all subsequent episodes of 'ReBoot' were darker.
- When ABC decided to cancel the animated series during the second season, the writers named Megabyte's warships 'ABC' and inserted the line 'ABC—they've turned against us! Treacherous dogs!' into the finale.
