Short description
Andy Millman gave up his day job five years ago in the hope of achieving the big time, but he’s yet to land a speaking part, let alone saunter down the red carpet to pick up an Oscar. He remains optimistic however, as rubbing shoulders with the A-list on-set only serves to reinforce his belief that the big time is just a job or two away.

What's left behind the scenes
- Damon Bisley and Ian Morris are British producers who worked on projects such as 'Jimmy Carr: Stand Up' (2005) and 'Overgrown'.
- In the episode featuring Kate Winslet, she mentions that she is acting in a film about the Holocaust because she had already been nominated for an Oscar four times without ever winning. Four years later, with five nominations under her belt, she finally received the coveted statuette for her role in Stephen Daldry's drama 'The Reader' (2008), based on the 1995 novel of the same name by Bernhard Schlink, which addressed the theme of the Nazi regime.
- It is claimed that Jude Law was supposed to appear in one of the episodes, but for some reason cancelled his appearance at the very last moment, forcing Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant to urgently find a replacement—an event referenced in the episode 'Looking for Leo,' where they attempt to contact Leonardo DiCaprio.
