What's left behind the scenes
- The water scenes were filmed near a dam in Irwindale, California.
- The kidnappers show Dave newspaper clippings about a hurricane sweeping through Brazil, Cuba, and Argentina. In reality, the newspaper articles are written in Dutch and discuss a musical group, computers, and antivirus software.
