What's left behind the scenes
- Quentin was played by three actors: Noah Segan in the pilot episode, John Stuer in the first three seasons, and Sam Horrigan in the final two.
- The series takes place in the fictional town of Victoria, Missouri.
- The names of Grace's relatives were not chosen at random; they are plays on the names of show business celebrities. Gene Kelly was an actor, director, writer, producer, choreographer, and singer; Emmett Kelly was a famous clown; DeForest Kelley was an actor; and finally, Grace Kelly herself is named after the actress and later wife of Prince Rainier III of Monaco.
