What's left behind the scenes
- The show's creator, Mitch Glazer, is originally from Miami. Many of the series' plots are based on stories he heard in childhood and later while gathering materials as a journalist. He initially intended for it to be a movie, but there turned out to be so much material that it was enough for a television series.
