Short description
In Victorian England, the young and beautiful Alice tells a tale of a strange new land that exists on the other side of a rabbit hole. Thinking Alice insane, her doctors aim to make her forget everything. While Alice is ready to put it all behind her, she knows this world is real. In the nick of time, the Knave of Hearts and the White Rabbit save her from a doomed fate. Together, the trio tumble down the rabbit hole to Wonderland, where nothing is impossible.

What's left behind the scenes
- The pilot episode features a yellow Volkswagen Beetle. This is Emma Swan's car from the series 'Once Upon a Time' (2011-2018). In another episode, a black Mercedes is shown, which is the car of Regina Mills from the same series.
- Initially, it was announced that another actor would be cast as the Mad Hatter (Sebastian Stan played him in 'Once Upon a Time'), as Stan would be unable to reprise the role due to his commitments to other projects within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Soon after, however, screenwriter Edward Kitsis stated that due to the negative reaction from viewers (who loved Stan as the Mad Hatter), the role would not be given to anyone else, and the series would simply proceed without the character.
