Short description
After graduation our main character Yesenia dreams about work- ing with Rodion Meglin. He is a mysterious, secretive man, a lone investigator with little known about his methods. When Yesenia turns into his trainee she begins to realize that the essence of his method is that Meglin himself – that of a maniac. He feels them instinctively. He is allowed to eliminate some of them, look after others and save their lives. Our heroine who was never meant to work alone will go alone, facing the most horrible crimes of the last decade.

What's left behind the scenes
- In season 1, episode 10, at the 4-minute mark, Oleg Semisynov's character says that he arrived at the crime scene by trolleybus. However, there are no trolleybus routes in Serpukhov, where the murder took place.
- In early 2017, Alexander Tsekalo's production center 'Sreda' sold the broadcasting rights for the series 'The Method' to the streaming service Netflix.
- According to actress Paulina Andreeva, before filming a scene in a morgue for the second season, the actors did not know they would be working in an actual morgue. For instance, Konstantin Khabensky greeted the real employees at the entrance, mistaking them for extras. Filming was delayed by two hours because the bodies had to be removed, but one of the bodies was left behind and appeared in the background.
- One of the filming days took place in an active cemetery with real graves. The film crew had to flee the set whenever a funeral procession appeared.
- At the end of episode 8, Meglin (Konstantin Khabensky) takes off Esenya's (Paulina Andreeva) sneakers, and she falls asleep in a T-shirt. At the beginning of episode 9, she wakes up wearing boots and a tank top.
- During Yesenia's interrogation, the cell number matched the series number.
- At the 9-minute mark of season 1, episode 9, as Meglin stands up after examining the crime scene, the dead girl moves her arms.
- For the role of Yesenia, Paulina Andreeva cut her hair on camera for the first time. According to her, parting with her hair proved to be difficult.
- When Zhorik's wife wanted to cut off her finger, there was only one ring left on her left hand. However, a moment later, when the wife is having a hysterical breakdown on the floor, it is visible that there is more than one ring on her hand.
- In season 2, episode 15, at the 15-minute mark, when Esenya first sees her young daughter Vera, the girl is on screen without a pacifier. When Meglin appears in the background, the child suddenly has a pacifier. In the next shot, the pacifier is gone again.
- At the 26-minute mark of season 1, episode 6, when Natasha exposes her naked body in the lecture hall, it can be noticed that actor Vladislav Vetrov, playing the professor sitting to the right behind the lectern, is replaced by a body double.
